Refund policy

We refund orders in these situations:

  • Defective or damaged item — a misprint, manufacturing defect, or damage during shipping. Tell us within 30 days of delivery.
  • Wrong item shipped — you received a different product, color, or size than you ordered.
  • Lost in transit — your package shows no movement for 7+ business days, or shows delivered but isn't there. We confirm with the carrier first.
  • Order canceled before production — if you contact us within 1 hour of ordering and production hasn't started.

When we don't refund

Because every product is made-to-order, we can't take back items for the following reasons:

  • You changed your mind
  • You ordered the wrong size (please check our size charts before ordering)
  • You don't like the color in person
  • You decided you want a different design
  • The shipping took longer than you'd hoped (within normal delivery windows)
  • The political moment changed and you no longer want the shirt

We're a small operation and made-to-order means there's no resale value if you change your mind.

How to request a refund

Email support@banrepublicanvalues.com with your order number, the reason for the refund request, and a photo (for damage, defect, or wrong-item cases).

We respond within 1 business day.

How refunds are processed

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method
  • Processing takes 5–10 business days to appear on your statement (your bank's timeline, not ours)
  • We email you a confirmation when the refund is issued

If we're replacing the item instead of refunding, the replacement goes into production immediately and ships within 3–5 business days.

Partial refunds

In some cases (minor printing variation that doesn't qualify as a defect, partial damage), we may offer a partial refund or a discount on a future order. We'll work with you to find something fair.

Disputes

If you disagree with our refund decision, please reply to the email and we'll review. We want to make it right.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks are time-consuming for both of us, and most issues are resolvable directly within a day or two.
